Dwarka, one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites, is a deeply sacred destination for Hindu devotees. Located on the western tip of Gujarat's Saurashtra peninsula, it is home to the ancient Dwarkadhish Temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. The 450 km journey from Ahmedabad takes about 6 hours via the Rajkot bypass. Many pilgrims combine Dwarka with Somnath, Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, and Bet Dwarka island in a 2–3 day Saurashtra circuit.
